Outlined Red Box with Highlighted Text
I have a word document and at one point experimenting with the different features that word has to offer. I inserted a side card as so that when specific text, in this case an address is selected; it becomes highlighted in red and there is a red outlined box to the right. Any idea on how to remove this and what it is called, as its printing with the document as well ?

This sounds like a deletion in Track Changes but I am unsure. Can you attach a screenshot and a sample document? Why a sample file is important for troubleshooting - - - - - - - and how to do it.
It ay related to Comments or Track Changes setting in Microsoft Word. When text is highlighted and a box appears to the side, it often indicates that a comment or change tracking markup has been added:
- Check for Comments:
- Go to the Review tab in the ribbon.
- Look for any comments in the document. If there are comments, you can delete them by selecting the comment and clicking Delete in the Comments section.
- Turn Off Track Changes:
- In the Review tab, check if Track Changes is enabled. If it is, click on it to turn it off.
- To remove existing tracked changes, click Accept All Changes or Reject All Changes in the Track Changes section.
- Inspect the Document:
- Use the Document Inspector to check for hidden metadata or markup:
- Go to File > Info > Check for Issues > Inspect Document.
- Run the inspection and remove any comments, revisions, or other markup.
