Not sure if this is relevant but here goes - I think when Windows 11 updates, it places incompatible software on my puter. Always something doesn't work right after an update. You can pause updates for a few days but it will install whether you want it or not. Right now I cannot access my website to work on it. Because I use Microsoft Expression Web 4 and it will not stay on a page. I click Ex 4 to load it, and the Index page appears for about 8 seconds, then boots itself right off to the blank load page again. I reinstalled Expression Web 4, to no avail, and scanned everything I could. I find something corrupted after any Windows 11 update. I am trying to find whatever is dumping my webpage but there is no time to analyze what's wrong. Using HP laptop with tons of space and RAM. 1 year old. Thanks Hope this is okay here. Any advice will help.8Views0likes0CommentsIs 256gb ssd enough for windows 11

Hi. I installed Whatsapp on my Windows 11. The bizzare thing that happened is that, even after I closed Whatsapp (it was not visible anymore neither on the task bar nor on the tray icon area), Whatsapp kept running on the background and displaying notifications of new messages arriving on my whatsapp on the screen! I certainly don't want apps running on the background after they were completely closed on the interface. How can I force Whatsapp to be closed completely when I close it? Certainly that raises the concern of how many other apps are running on the background after being closed? I'm talking here, obviously, of explicit apps that should work only when opened by the user and displayed on the screen. I'm not talking about normal background processes of apps used to improve performance. A background process to optimize performance is completely different of an app fully running and receiving messages after being closed. It's like closing Outlook Email and keep receiving notifications that a new Email arrived even though the app was closed. That didn't happen with outlook. but it's a good analogy. That behaviour from Whatsapp is unacceptable!Solved12KViews0likes5CommentsI got a really unusual serious issue
After a 1 month vacay i came back and tried printing a photo w11 64bit... epson 2720 magenta wasn't printing. i tried and checked everything i called epson tech supp here's the story as far as i can comprehend....................he started navigating my computer remotely and this is what he said HE SAID I HAVE TO REACTIVATE MY W11 WITH AN ACTIVATION CODE. basically he said my machine's time is up and since i don't have the activation code all the drivers don't work. he said i will only be able to do basic functional things but all the programs i have installed will no longer work eventually. he said i will have to get a code at $50 per year for 5years = total $300. the remote tech guy linked me to an article abot windows no longer supporting w10 after october 2025. i told him i have w11. he said i might have a w11 upgraded from w10 right now the only thing not working is the printer color. all my other programs are working fine. i bought a beelink from amazon. ive had it for 2years and it has been working VERY well guys,,,i don't even know if i'm explaining this correctly. it's so weird i never heard of this before.13Views0likes0CommentsRemove WIndows 11 "window" stacker drop down
Afternoon from Kenmore WA: Uncertain what the official name for this Windows 11 "feature" is but.... There is a drop down lurking at the top center of the Monitor screen which, if you get too close, decides it is going to stack your browser and application windows into random jenga patterns. How the hell do I remove that? Looked under settings, displays, every place I could think of that the Evil Empire in Redmond might have hidden this atrocity. Hi. I have a Sony Vaio Laptop VPCEH 16EG with Win 7 Home basic installed on it. I'm currently outside my country and only use laptop for emails and browsing. A week ago I browsed and switch off my laptop. The next morning I could not log into any Wifi network. No Wifi connections is displayed in the local network display. When I connect a LAN cable it can still connect to the internet. In Device manager/other devices/HDB interface and network controller I get the yellow Exclamation mark. I tried upgrading the drivers which did not help. Then I uninstall the drivers and restart. Then I had no internet via Lan or Wifi. I download drivers from Sony and internet. This only restored the Lan port. Another option was to disable the network in the Bios and in the Sony Vaio gateway with no prevail. Even the Wifi switch on the front show the display of Wifi but no Wifi connections itself. I do have the original disk at home which I can only access next moth. How do I test if Wifi adapter is still working? Any idea how to restore Wifi drivers?39Views0likes2CommentsSave the date: Windows Office Hours - May 15, 2025
