Starting around Monday 5/12 (could have been over the weekend) we're seeing behavior where moving an email from one folder to another in a shared mailbox is appearing to move correctly in Outlook software (classic enterprise version) but not reflecting in web view. This creates a duplicate of sorts and have to address on the web side. Same behavior with two different accounts that have access to the same shared mailbox on newest (current channel) and slightly older version of 365 software. When using python automation that has worked for months, it's now effectively creating a copy from Inbox in our In Progress folder, and a 3rd copy in Done folder. When processing cycle hits again, it's reprocessing (bad) and creating a mess of duplicates. Anyone else experiencing this or have any idea what may have happened or how to resolve? Thanks jtOutlook address book sort order, PhoneticDisplayName
You cannot enter PhoneticDisplayName in AdminCenter. - I would like to be able to enter the user's PhoneticDisplayName in the AdminCenter. - I would like the address book to be sorted in PhoneticDisplayName order. Isn't it possible to change the sort order by pressing the item title? Name, E-mail, Mobile No, PhoneticDisplayNameNew Outlook: Plain Text Until Proven Innocent?
I used to turn off Rich Format emails and just view them plain text in old Outlook; but I have been forced to upgrade to new Outlook and I do not see the option listed anymore. Where has it been moved? Also, is there a way to turn it on network wide? Also, how stupid and irresponsible is it of Microsoft to bury a setting like that when so many people's jobs rely on the computer systems of their livelyhood not being encrypted by malware? It makes me feel like Microsoft is trying to rid the world of additional companies.Question about Team/Group Calendar
I’m curious if anyone has any answers or suggestions for the following scenario: Within my organization, I’d like to create a single M365 team containing all departments. Within MS Teams, each department would have its own Channel under that one all-encompassing team, where they could schedule meetings, communicate, share files, etc. Each department has roughly 5 team members and there are 8 departments, so let’s say this all-encompassing team will contain 40-45 members total. Each department schedules weekly status meetings. My vision is to have a single shared calendar containing weekly status meetings of all departments, and I’d like for all team members across all departments to be able to see that shared calendar, but here’s the challenge: I don’t want each team member to have all department meetings display on their own work calendar, so they’re not confused as to what meetings they actually need to join versus just be aware of, but only display meetings they are individually invited to. I would however like if they had the ability to see all team meetings if they are looking at the greater Team/Group calendar in Outlook. I also don’t want all team members to be notified about other department/channel meetings, for example if it’s cancelled or rescheduled. I only want them notified about meetings they as an individual are invited to. Is there functionality or workarounds that support this scenario? Thanks in advance! Not so Dark theme
Is there something that can be edited or is an option coming to enable a more contrasting but less harsh theme to MS365 apps and Windows? As I’ve got older I need to turn down brightness because the extremes in the current themes, White, Black, Dark Grey, are too harsh, but that doesn’t quite achieve what I need. A light grey, giving better contrast than white for those that need it but not so harsh and depressing as the dark versions, would be ideal. We’re lacking options at the light end of the spectrumQuestion: Adding Undo and Redo Buttons to the Toolbar in Office 365 Apps
My Microsoft Office got updated today, I was taken to the Coming Soon section as soon as I opened it through a pop-up box and I updated to the new and refresh look of Office but what I found is the undo and button came to the ribbon. I could remove those buttons from ribbon but cannot figure out how to add them in the toolbar as depicted in the picture. Can anyone please help me?SolvedWhats happens when Office Retail user signs in with Microsoft 365 account
Hi all, i have a situation where users are being migrated, so E3 some F3 but wanted to know what happens when user who is using Office 2016 Retail signs in to their Office with Microsoft 365 account that doesn't have Microsoft apps enabled or available. Does Office Retail continue to work as normal, is anything blocked or restricted? Anything to be mindful of? ThanksSolved231Views0likes2CommentsWhat does this "Sign In" button log me into?
I noticed this "Sign In" button at the top right corner of outlook. What does it sign me into? As you can see from the Office Accounts/Accounts page, I'm already logged into my office account. I am also successfully logged into my only mailbox. So, what might it be?11KViews0likes17CommentsFeature "Translate" missing in Outlook
The Feature "Translate" is missing in Outlook. We have the latest Update of the Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel (Version 2302, Build 16130.20714). The Feature is missing in the ribbon, and also in the Options under "Language". I only have "Office display language" and "Office authoring languages and proofing" but no "Translation". Can it be somehow installed?7.3KViews0likes6Comments
