We have deployed Poly CCX 500 phones to staff. There is a single user that when they log into the phone, the calendar and voicemail options do not display on the home screen. They only see the Calls and People options on the home screen. If they log into the Teams desktop app everything looks fine. We've signed into another phone with the account and the behaviour follows the account. Has anybody seen this issue when logging into a teams native phone?2KViews0likes3CommentsSharepoint list links to custom view not working on Teams tab with a sharepoint page
Hi, i am assuming this has to do with the release of Micosoft List which is onboing but i do home this wont stay for long. We have a Sharepoint List at the sharepoint from out team, this list is splitted in diferent views which filter the data to diferent members of that team. depending on their role. On the web, directly in sharepoint everything works as it should. if you select Fleet for example you will go directly to the Fleet custom view. if you select it on the Teams Tab, it renders with the Teams design ( for me Darkmode ) which is good π like it , But all custom view Links default to All items Any idea anyone ?Solved18KViews2likes21Comments1st aid hotline - does not call when in focus mode
Hi everyone, i created a 1st aid hotline for one of our bigger branches. The goal is to call the hotline - it rings at 20 ppl at once. The first to answer is the 1st aider. But we are also using "Focus time" to block time slots. I added the hotline to my priority contacts and disabled "busy on busy" but the call does not get through. As this is a life saving procedure i need to make sure that all call come through. It does not matter if you are presenting, in a meeting or sitting on the toilet with only your phone. Can someone help me out which setting i should make? The branch is in Germany and normally the hotline will be called from mobile. Hi, Does anyone know if it is default behaviour that when you create a Teams meeting only external participants receive an email notification for the meeting? Currently when a meeting is created, internal organisation participants have the meeting added to their Microsoft Calendar but do not get an email notification. Is there a policy that needs to be changed to allow this behaviour? I thought this would have been the default way it would be done. Thanks!101Views0likes5CommentsMeeting Recording policy enabled - users see lock icon
Hi all, We have Meeting recording and Transcription enabled under the Global (Org-wide default) policy. Users still see the lock icon against the options in the Teams client though. They nor their computers are in any other Teams policies that would disable these. Does anyone know what the issue might be? thanks jc32Views0likes1CommentHow to have more than one video chat at one time?
I was wondering if anyone knows how to have more than one video chat at the same time? Example I want to book 4 video chats using my own account, view the video chats at the same time and date. ( I would use outlook calendar to book 4 different video chats with 4 different users). Problem is if I'm using the MSTeams app I can only view 1 chat. If I click on my calendar invite and open the next video chat scheduled at the same time it overrides the first one. I did figure out how to view 2 video chats at once. I open one in the app and the second one in a browser such Microsoft edge by copying the video chat hyperlink from the calendar invite and pasting it the browser. I then select view in browser. This does not override the MSteams app. There is no way to open the 3rd and 4th video chat. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Having the video chats in separate windows is very important as I cannot have them in one video chat together. Thank you.4.1KViews0likes4CommentsTeams needs an option to allow us to specify what browser it should use
In the nature of "hybrid work", I often work from home on my personal computer. To keep work and personal stuff separate, I use different browsers. Edge for work and Brave for personal stuff. The problem is that Teams will always use my default browser to launch content that I'm not signed-in for. Which means I need to manually grab links and paste them in Edge to move forward. IMO, this makes for a broken user-experience. Lastly, I do realize that I can create a separate Windows profile for my work stuff (which I'm likely to do) but I don't believe that is the appropriate answer, but a workaround.49KViews5likes10CommentsMicrosoft Teams Just Got Smarter: Real-Time Bidirectional Translation!

I'm a project manager. When using MS Windows Explorer and creating project folders, there are many times where I need to create a shortcut within a specific folder to view other files in another folder that's in a different location within Explorer. It's quite easy to create a shortcut to a file/folder then copy that shortcut over to my specific location. But my new company wants all project related files kept in Teams. So there is a Photos and Videos folder that's in the root directory so that all photos for all projects can easily be found. Then, I have a Project Job Number specific folder that has a folder within that is for just my projects. I don't want to replicate the files in two locations for many obvious reasons. Is there a way create a link from my pics folder in the root, to my pics folder in the job specific folder? Thanks.9.5KViews1like4CommentsMulti-Account into the new Teams
Hi, i'm using the new teams app for University and Personal Stuff. If i log-in my first account logged is the university account and, if i want to switch it's like a new teams page is open letting ALSO the previous opened. If i go to close the previous account window, all teams service will be closed, closing also the one i want to stay opened. It is simply horrible. Please just improved the account switcher system making a true switch from account to account letting just an instance opened. Thank you!46Views0likes2Comments
