Excel wants me to use Copilot, but then declines to function
I'm confused. There's a ton of hype around AI assistants. I've noticed in my Excel that every single time I click in a cell, a prompt tag appears above the cell to get me to try Copilot. I've been ignoring it but I finally decided to give it a try, and it failed. I entered my question and it basically said it doesn't work yet? As a Microsoft 365 Personal or Family subscriber, you'll be able to use Copilot when you're signed with your Microsoft work or school account (Entra ID) and Microsoft personal account. However, that ability is not yet available. Why is Excel literally ALWAYS prompting me to try something that doesn't work? I assume there's a configuration option somewhere to disable the Copilot tag prompt on every cell. I'm not asking for help in finding that option. I do not want help finding that option. The error message indicates the requirement that I must be signed in with a "work" or "school" account in addition to my personal account. Then it says "that ability is not yet available." Which ability? The ability for Copilot to work? Or the ability to be signed into a personal and work account simultaneously? How will I know if or when "that ability is not yet available" is no longer true? How will I know when I should try Copilot again? In my decades of experience with IT, it's not uncommon for error messages to be wrong, or at least misleading. Is this one of those situations? Is the message correct and I just need to wait an indeterminate time for some indeterminate party to add or enable some indeterminate function somewhere within Microsoft software or services? Or is that message inaccurate, and to enable Copilot, I actually need to do something on my end that's not being mentioned here? High level, I'm annoyed that MS is pushing something that it then can't (or won't?) deliver. I expect more from MS.
How to remove Copilot from showing up on web-based apps?
Hello, I predominantly use Outlook through the website via Chrome. I also use OneDrive, Excel, and Word through Chrome quite often. I had a tech person walk me through removing Copilot from my computer's apps - the actual programs - but it's still showing up on my website uses. I do not support AI, AI is absolute trash, and I want Copilot completely eliminated from everything I use. I am tired of having to close the Copilot 'summary' that automatically pops up at the top of all my emails. Is there an easy way to completely eliminate this, or am I doomed? Thank you!
Excel Connector Issue in Copilot Studio for Agent using SharePoint as Knowledge Source
I am creating a declarative agent in Copilot studio to easily access information from my team's SharePoint site. However, I am having issues with the excel connector. I receive the error message below when asking copilot a question relating to the excel file. "Error Message: The connector 'Excel Online (Business)' returned an HTTP error with code 404. Below is a screenshot of the inputs I am using. Any ideas on what is causing the issue/why the excel file is not recognized?
Microsoft 365 Copilot for Excel
Copilot is not generating information from a simple Excel file. It's a consolidated excel sheet from Dynamics 365 Crm data having 29 columns and 6426 rows. Is there any cleanup or data transformation needs to be done before uploading to copilot or any guidelines available to use Copilot in Excel.
Export Search results from Copilot into Excel
Hello, I'm looking to automatically export my search results from Copilot into Excel. I have number of description of Part No, but it does not describes what exactly this description means. For Example, when I search TRAFO9155-15 440/400V DYN11 MAR MUNSELL in Copilot, it gives most of the information. Later I manually copy this information into my excel for the above said description. I have multiple Part description, so is there a automated process to automatically copy the search results into Excel/Word Please advise. Thanks! Copilot in Outlook
One of my users trying to extract all calendar items from their Outlook through out the year to an excel to be created by Copilot. 1-When prompting the Excel file is generated but not clickable looks like corrupted. 2-When prompting Copilot to list all calendar items through out the year it shows only few results but not the full list of meetings. Anyone has an idea please

For a family of four, this adds up to a substantial annual cost of 1,056€, which feels disproportionate compared to the base subscription price. I appreciate the value that Copilot brings, but I believe a more accessible pricing model, especially for families or multiple users, would make the service much more appealing. When trying to load the Copilot sidebar in the Mac desktop version of Microsoft Excel Version 16.91 (24111020), all I get is a loading animation (see screenshot). I've got a Microsoft 365 Subscription, and Copilot for Microsoft 365 license. Copilot works fine in Word. The document I'm working with is saved in a SharePoint team through my OneDrive app, and is formatted as a table.
