MS 365 Group Mailbox - New Outlook Search Not Working
We have just received a troubled call stating that the Search Feature inside of the MS 365 Group Mailboxes is not working. I reviewed this, and it is the same for all MS 365 Group Mailboxes, while the search feature dose work with all personal mailboxes. We are on the New Outlook platform and this issue is occurring for both Installed and web version of Outlook. Has anyone run across this or know of a fix? Thank You
outlook opening in web browser format
Hi all of a sudden when I click th office app on my taskbar and select Outlook, it now opens outlook in a web browser, it used to open the full 365 Outlook as an application. , If I search for outlook click the windows tab in the corner of the screen and select Outlook it opens up no problem
Question/Bug Report on OneNote Ruler
I am a Student from Germany and have recently stumbled upon a very annoying bug in OneNote: The scale on the ruler is bricked! Here you can see what I mean: The paper I am using is squared 5mm. The problem persists when using other sizes though. The funny thing about this is that apparently the scaling of the ruler was given some thought, since it does change the size of its scale when you zoom in or out for example. What is don´t realize is what the reference for it is? Its certainly not a millimeter scale. The option to change the scale on the ruler or changing it automatically depending on the selected unit of measurement in the settings would be very helpful and appreciated! (I have tried selecting different units in the settings but this does not seem to affect the scale of the ruler...) I think a lot of students would benefit a lot from this and from my personal experience of talking to other students at my uni, I can confirm, that this a big reason for people to switch to something like Xournal++ or GoodNotes. Especially in technical classes where you often need to draw something accurately... What do you think about this and would this be an issue that could be resolved in a future update?Portal change
Why one earth is https://m365.cloud.microsoft/ and https://portal.office.com now redirecting directly to Copilot? What a stupid change. No one wants this. Users want quick access to their files and apps, which the old office portal would facilitate nicely. Stop forcing copilot on your customers.
Power Automate - when a form is submitted: Other choice text
I have a flow that will write details from a form when submitted. One question in the form is a choice field with an "other" option where they can enter text for the other option. I would like the flow to write "Other" as the choice column value in the SharePoint list and then take what they type in the form for the other text to be written to another SharePoint list column as the text of the other option. This will keep the column formatting on the list view consistent for the values in the choice column. Any ideas?
Outlook displaying messages body incorrectly
All messages are being display in a centered column with the wrong font and reduced margins. I have tried restoring/repairing Office and even tried rolling Office back a version. The emails I am sending appear correcting on the recipient's device but not on my device.New Landing Pages for Word, Excel and PowerPoint (rant)
So I found out this week that MS is piloting new landing pages for the core Office apps (again). Instead of loading in the M365 Home page, they now load in an entirely new page. Why was this necessary? We've already been here before and MS spent years moving everything to the Home app. The dust has finally settled and things are working great. Why move things out again?
