Re: Access to Learning Resource page request
You need to register as a learning partner to provide training services. There was a recent session for MCTs about this topic which is accessible form the MCT Lounge events. This is the link, but only MCTs registered in the MCT Lounge can use this link Learn about Training Partner Program(s) | Microsoft Community Hub. For details on accessing MCT Lounge please see 1726140824788.pdfRe: Learning Action Pack Retirement Impact Query
Julian_Sharp I too feel clarification is needed on Q2 and it was the re-enrollment part of Q1 that I am seeking to clarify. Do LAPs partners need to renroll now or at expiry of pack or never? Hopefully DanDonohue can clarify the enrollment question. I assume there is no additional enrollment needed, but would like clarity for myself and othersLearning Action Pack Retirement Impact Query
With the retirement of the Learning Action Pack a couple of questions have come up and whilst I think I know the answer, it is worthy of checking. As many independant MCTs have used the LAPs to legitimately delivery official courses for many years, we wish to continue to follow the rules. Is there any requirement on partners who were enrolled as Learning Partners via the action pack to re-enroll/renew their TSP/learning partner status? If there is, please can you point me to the guidance to do so. Any TSP/learning partner can purchase any of the benefits packages. Am I right in my reading of the benefits package usage agreement that a TSP/learning partner may use those benefits for training delivery even if that training is income generating activity for the organisation, but not for business activity?SolvedRe: Becoming an authorised Microsoft certifier or Tutor
Trainers for offical microsoft courses need to be certified in the technology and for their training skills. I have a mixed tenant with some E3 and some Business Premium licenses. One global administrator account for each license. Neither GA can see the Business Center. The tenant was originally set up as E3, so I am wondering if this is expected bahviour or a issue I should be reporting. Any advice/suggestions welcome.1.4KViews0likes2CommentsRe: Enrolling as new MCT - are some options missing?
I understand that the enrolment tool is not due to be live until July (no exact date). I do not know how it is going to work, but previously qualifications were checked before MCT status was confirmed. Going back to my enrolment, it took a couple of weeks for verification of qualifications.1.2KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Enrolling as new MCT - are some options missing?
Enrolment criteria has changed and you need to hold a recognised training qualification. The referral/organisational verification option has been retired, though I do not think the Docs page has been updated yet to show this.1.2KViews0likes2CommentsRe: Apply Sensitivity Label to Site
Working for me now. As you commented. you do need to enable labels for groups & sites (lines 16-23 of the quoted script) and then sync them across Azure AD & Exchange with line 25 of the quoted script. Also make sure you have published the labels to the user accounts who are applying them2.5KViews1like0CommentsRe: Webinar
I assume you are referring to a Microsoft Teams Webinar? Just checking as this is the Learning conversation. But if you are then when you create the webinar you are the Organiser and have the same rights as presenter role, plus ability to see sign up, edit the meeting etc (see https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/roles-in-a-teams-meeting-c16fa7d0-1666-4dde-8686-0a0bfe16e019 as webinars are basically Teams meetings with sign up options). You can add your name and bio in the webinar sign up page which your potential attendees see, if that is why you want to add yourself as a presenter. This is separate to the 'Presenter' option when you set up the meeting.1.1KViews1like1CommentRe: Restrictions on Microsoft Course Delivery
That's not quite true RenJones. As an MCT you can only teach Microsoft Official Courses your technical certification is aligned to. Details of what technical accreditation is required to teach each course is included in the Courseware Title Plan and MCT Competency Requirements which is linked from MCT Central in the blue box. Learning Partners also have access to this spreadsheet. However if the course is NOT listed on the sheet (community or custom course) then you can teach as you are confident to do so. Personally I feel that if you have enough knowledge to teach an official course then you have enough knowledge to pass the exam which is stated as the requirement to do so and if you can't pass the exam you are not knowledgeable to be teaching it.1.3KViews1like0CommentsRe: What is the process for running a MOC course?
ShimKwan I assume from the way your question is worded that, you are an MCT. In short - MCTs need to work with Learning Partners to deliver courses. Microsoft Certified Trainers have access to the Courseware Marketplace for manual copies for their personal use and readiness to deliver courses. So you cannot share that copy with course delegates. Only approved Learning Partners can purchase manuals to distribute to students. If you access MCT Central (microsoft.com) using the log on associated with your MCT/Certification account you will find the link to the Learning Download Center to download the instructor materials. Labs including Azure passes where appropriate are purchased from authorised lab hosts either via the Courseware marketplace (again only if you are an approved Learning Partner) or direct from the lab host.1.1KViews1like1CommentNot being prompted for Sign In with unified labeling client
Have rebuilt a PC and on installed the unified labeling client. It is not prompting for user credentials and therefore labels are not available. Have tried the old uninstall reinstall trick, but not joy. Any ideas how I can force it to ask for sign in. Same user on different device working fine.Re: Courseware Title Plan and MCT Competency Requirements
Robert28 Yes, MCT Central is only available if you are an accredited MCT. Only MCTs can teach official Microsoft courses. So to teach the Azure Fundamentals for example you need to be a currently accredited MCT (you need to renew every year) and also hold Azure fundamentals or another current Azure certification. Each year to renew you need to provide evidence of delivery quality and volume which meet at least the minimum program standards plus have up to date Microsoft qualifications. To find out more about becoming and MCT see Become a Microsoft Certified Trainer | Microsoft Docs2.5KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Courseware Title Plan and MCT Competency Requirements
JohnnyRaadshoej you need to go to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/learning/mct-central.aspx in the blue resources box is the link to the Courseware Title Plan and MCT Competency Requirements document. Make sure you sign in with the account linked to your MCT accreditation.2.5KViews0likes3CommentsRe: Teams Recurring Meetings Videos
Vasquem I suggest you contact your Microsoft 365 administrator. This could be a licensing issue or a number of other things, such as what your organisation permits users to do or your internet connection. Generally, questions relating to Teams usage in education settings are generally best posted to Microsoft Teams for Education - Microsoft Tech Community554Views0likes0Comments
