New Microsoft Planner Premium resource

I've started a new blog on Planner Premium which we're rolling out within our department to about 30 people. I'm using it as a way to share and learn so would love people's feedback and corrections since things seem to be changing quite frequently

Here's my first 4 posts:

  • I think many will find value in the first two articles you have listed.

However, I anticipate your reference to Planner Premium in the other articles will create confusion as there is no Planner Premium Product.

Those with a Microsoft 365 Work Account will get access to Microsoft Planner and be able to craft Basic Plans.

Those with elevated Planner licensing (e.g. Planner Plan 1, Planner and Project Plan 3, or Planner and Project Plan 5) will also have the ability to craft Premium Plans.

You may want to revisit what you have summarized in the way of feature set. Most of what you have highlighted is only available with the elevated Planner licensing. To confuse things further, the Premium Plan capabilities differ between Planner Plan 1 and Planner and Project Plan 3.

Thanks SO MUCH AllisonMarque360 ! I could've sworn when I watched a Microsoft event they used that terminology but now I cannot see it used 😮. Thanks for the link, I know about the different license plans with Plan 3 and Plan 5 giving premium plan and portfolio functions; is it just me or is it confusing?! I've edited the third link and will fix the fourth one as well 🤗

It brought me some comfort to know that I'm not the only one using the terminology, here's a couple of others:
