My mac pro just completed a software update to macOS Sonama 14.1.2 since then the space bar in one note is not working on the one note app the online application is working. I cannot place a space between words when you push the space bar the cursor jumps to somewhere else on the page. I tried uninstalling it, looking at library and containers nothing seems to be working. Please help

I figured out, in my case, that the full keyboard access within Settings/Accessibility/Keyboard was the culprit, Once I disabled it the issue disappeared.

THANK U!!!!! I have been searching for nearly an hour for this solution to get my spacing functionality back up-and-running when titling my OneNote Pages or separating any words in the title or body on any page.

        This worked for me!!!!

Like you said... Go to Apple Macbook "Settings/Accessibility/Keyboard" and then disable or deselect the checkbox for "Full Keyboard Access" since it is enabled and messing with the spacing on OneNote.

I would have never figured this out without you and I really have put a lot of time into organizing my OneNote Notebook into Sections and lots of time has been spent on this. I didn't want to abandon OneNote for another Page/Note Organization app.....

This immediately fixed the issue and my cursor now stays in line with the text and properly inputs a "space" between separated words, on both Notebook pages and in the body of the OneNote Pages.

Before, it was moving the cursor down and not allowing a space in between words unless I input a space manually by pasting it COMMAND + V

I had to copy a space character from a previous spot once I ran into this issue, if I wanted to separate words on the Page Title or in the body of the Page text I would type. I didn't want to proceed with my Notebook if I have to "paste" a space rather than hit the space bar. I also didn't think my sections or memory was the issue. Glad I didn't give up!

I hope this quick solution under Macbook Accessibility Keyboard settings helps others with same issue.

Same issue here!, On an Intel Macbook Pro, when space is pressed the text input dash jumps to another random placeGB7685
