Work/Web Toggle Not present on Microsoft 365 copilot

Hi there, I am unable to see the work/web toggle and other features of the paid version of microsoft 365 copilot. Can you help with this? I was able to see it in Word, Excel, Powerpoint but accessing copilot from onedrive, onenote, loop, outlook, teams or even on m365.cloud.microsoft, I couldnt see the features of the paid version of copilot. I tried manually updating the license but couldnt find those options for some of the app. I am using M365 for Mac.

Can you help with this. I had included a screenshot of this. I check my subscriptions and I had already been assigned the correct license.

  • It's possible that the work/web toggle and other features may not be visible due to a few reasons. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

    1. **Check for Updates:** Ensure that you have the latest version of Microsoft 365 applications installed. Sometimes, updates can resolve issues with missing features.
    2. **Verify License:** Double-check that your license includes access to Copilot features in all applications. You can do this through your account settings.
    3. **Enable Features:** Some features may need to be enabled in the settings of each application. Check the settings to ensure that Copilot features are turned on.
    4. **Sign Out and Sign In:** Try signing out of your account and signing back in to refresh the settings.

If the issue persists, consider reaching out to Microsoft support for further assistance, as it could be a specific issue with your account or configuration.

It's important to ensure that you have the latest version of Microsoft 365 Copilot. You can check for updates in the Microsoft 365 admin center or through your application settings. Additionally, verify that your license is active and correct, and that you have enabled all necessary features. If the issue persists, I recommend reaching out to Microsoft support for further assistance.

The license was assigned yesterday. Ok, it is good to know that there is some time window before copilot start to appear on my windows app. Yes, I had made sure I am signed in the the correct account for all the apps and check that the license are present for the app when I look at the "About Microsoft Word" and I also use this method to update the license when i click on "more info".

Any update on this? Hopefully everything started to work after a couple days? :)

Thanks for all the help here. It took another day (about 12-24hours) before the new license was reflected on my account. I tried all the steps mentioned by ml4u to ensure I had the most updated license and then had to wait another day before those changes are reflected. Looks like it takes sometime for the license to take effect on the backend.

    Hey,

That does sound pretty strange. When was the license assigned? After assigning a Copilot license to a user, it can take up to 72 hours (about 3 days) for the background refresh to take effect in the apps.

Also, one thing worth mentioning — in the top screenshot, your profile picture is visible, but in the ones below, it’s not. Are you sure you’re signed in with the correct account?
