Forms - Unable To Collect Responses
A week ago when I created two new forms and both not allow me to collect responses and has this message "This form can't be distributed as it is asking for personal or sensitive information. Terms of use" with the collect responses button greyed out. The forms do have a request for names, date of birth, address, telephone numbers and email addresses. These replicas of form I have used for the last 12 month and have only been updated to cover the next 12 month.
Quiz Branching with Practice Mode
There seems to be a problem with branching a quiz with practice mode turned on. If you make a quiz, add branching to it and then turn on practice mode it will not advance/branch to the next question. Instead the "Complete the Practice" button pops up and when clicked an error message pops up in my case it's "2 question(s) need to be completed before submitting: Question 2,Question 3."
Duplicate responses in Excel
I've been using Forms to create a Sharepoint list for some months now. Just in the past few days I've had an issue with one submission creating two or more response ID's in the Excel spreadsheet synced with Forms which drives my Power Automate flow to create the item in Sharepoint. Has anyone experienced this? It seems to be a sync timing issue perhaps but I have no idea how to fix it. Here is one example: the first two responses are exactly the same submission. Both have the same start/completed times but the sync to Excel created two different response ID's. The third response 1285 also tagged at exactly the same start time as the completed time on response 1283 and 1284. Can anyone shed some light to this issue?
Quiz created in Forms is not available in TEAMS when trying to upload in Assignments Tab. Why?
I created a quiz in Forms and I am trying to insert it as a quiz under the Assignments tab; however, it doesn't show up when the Forms window pops up. It is the only file I have in Forms, but Teams is not locating it. The only option I have is to create a new quiz. Any reason why? How can I fix this? Thanks.
Can you populate form choices from external list i.e. Sharepoint?
Hi. Wondering if there is any way to get a Form to read choices for a question from an external source say a SharePoint online list? This would make it easier to manage the list without having to update the form each time new options were added. For example, if I had a form with a question asking for budget code to be entered, i would rather pull a list from a common external source than have to remember to update the form each time a code is added or removed? I was looking and all I found were similar questions from as far back as 2019, so assuming no solution has been made, yet? Is any way to get a Form to read/populate dynamic choices for a question from an external source say a SharePoint online list? This would make it easier to manage the list without having to update the form each time new options were added. For example, if I had a form with a question asking for a person to assign that day to that task and the list of people available to pick from changes daily (but is scheduled a month in advance with potential last minute tweaks), I would rather pull a list from a common external source than have to update the form each day or any time a person switches days.
Populating data from Sharepoint list back to a form.
I have a data set of monthly performance information in a sharepoint list. One row per month. Users add to this data via a simple ms form. I would like to be able to offer users the ability to update prior data submissions. Ideally a user would use an ms form, and upon selecting a month with existing data the from would populate with the current data for that month, but allow the user to edit as needed. Submitting the data would cause the records to be updated to the new values. Is this or similar possible, and if so how would you achieve it? The dataset is the input to a PowerBI dashboard.
