I just tried this. TL/DR : c:\windows\system32\IntegratedServicesRegionPolicySet.json search for : Automatic app sign-in remove under disabled your region. and it does work. It does resolve all the issues this change causes.
We will leave the ticket open and see how long Microsoft continues to dance around the issue and avoid addressing it with flimsy excuses.
Be carefull changing the file, it can break Windows Updates as the hash is changed and Windows Updates does a check on the Hash. Use the VIVE Tool to change settings!
Thanks rob, you are absolutely correct. Now we have hundreds of clients with broken windows update because we changed the json.
So we need a better fix, i have downloaded the vive tool and tried attacking it in every possible direction to figure out which ID that needs to be enabled/disabled without any success.
Do you have any insight to which ID that needs to be enabled/disabled using Vive Tool?
We are running Windows 11 education, build 26100 (24h2) if that matters.
